yuzu.help ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard data when you use yuzu.help (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account data — email address when you register for an account.
• Usage data — pages visited, time on site, browser type and device type via Vercel Analytics (anonymised).
• User-generated data — bookmarks, reading history, and preferences you save in your dashboard.
• Cookies — session cookies for authentication and a consent flag stored in localStorage.

We do not sell your data, use advertising trackers, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

• To provide and personalise the Service (bookmarks, reading history, dashboard).
• To send the optional weekly newsletter — only if you have opted in.
• To improve the quality and relevance of our content.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

Your data is stored in Supabase (EU region) subject to Supabase's security standards. We use row-level security (RLS) policies so each user can only access their own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR where applicable), you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate personal data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection — opt out of newsletter communications at any time from your dashboard.

We use the following third-party services which may process your data under their own policies:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Vercel — hosting and anonymised analytics.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (only if you subscribe to the newsletter).
• OpenAI — AI chat feature (messages processed to generate responses; chat history is not stored).

We use strictly necessary session cookies for authentication. We also store a single consent flag in your browser's localStorage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

yuzu.help is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We accept no liability for errors or omissions in content. Nothing on this site constitutes legal or financial advice. Users rely on information at their own risk.
